Duct Tape Lunch Bag

I realize that in terms of the crafting I’ve been MIA.  For those of you who love crafting n’ immersing yourself in art, you probably understand when I say that I’ve been lining up so many projects after project that it has been impossible to find the time to actually update my blog to keep up with what I have completed. Anyhow, here’s the first of many catch-up posts.

Thanks to my aunt, I’ve been introduced to  the art of duct tape. For my first project, being QC, I obviously couldn’t simply settle for a small project, so I tackled a big one – replace the lunchbox I accidentally left on the bus.

I essentially followed this super straight-forward tutorial, but I lined every panel with aluminum foil in an attempt to insulate the bag at least a little.  I also decided to give a lil’ QC flair, so I included two Lay’s chip bags protected with packaging tape (i.e. clear duct tape), n’ I lined the edges with blue & orange duct tape.  Here’s the final product –
