Controlling the quality of life. That's what she said.
I’m honestly still in awe of the Broncos’ Monday Night performance. Yes, they dug themselves a huge (I mean, HUGE) hole in the first half, but they made a major, impressive comeback. Moving on to last night, Thursday Night’s game, I had to endure a brutally defensive game between the Niners n’ Seahawks. I was being very un-Bay-Area-local like n’ cheering on the Seahawks. Yeah, that didn’t end too well. Anyhow, I found this one play by the Seahawks that appeared to be eerily similar to that of Decker on Monday –
Granted, Decker somersaulted while Obomanu simply slipped, but it was all so uncanny. Another observation: both wear number 87. Coincidence? I think not. Actually yes, it is. Luckily, Broncos won their divisional game in historic fashion, while the Seahawks painfully lost to the Niners in an important divisional game. Well, I’m not planning to watch much football this Sunday. For one, I’ll be spending my morning at the site of the new San Jose Earthquakes stadium for the groundbreaking ceremony (n’ patiently waiting to get my free commemorative shovel!). Once I get home, I’ll be glued to the television watching NBC televising the first Grand Prix competition of the figure skating season. I’ll then be glued to the local Comcast Sportsnet channel screaming at the Quakes to go kick some most-hated-rival-Galaxy-derrière out of this universe. I hope that made sense, but if it didn’t, I’ll have my hands full watching figure skating n’ MLS. GO QUAKES! Hey LA, did you feel that?!
